ေက်ာင္းပံုျပင္ (၁) အေရြ႕ (အက္ေဆး)

ပညာေရး အလြန္အမင္း အေရးႀကီးေနၿပီဟူ၍ တုိက္တိုက္တြန္းတြန္း ေျပာဆိုသံမ်ားကိုခပ္စိပ္စိပ္၊ခပ္က်ယ္က်ယ္ျဖင့္ က်ေနာ္တို႔ ပိုမို ၾကားသိေနရျခင္းမွာ မဂၤလာတစ္ပါးဟု ထင္ျမင္မိပါသည္။ ႏိုင္ငံေရးသမားမ်ား၊ ပညာရွင္မ်ား၊ အစိုးရအဖြဲ႔၀င္မ်ား၊ အက္တီးဗစ္မ်ားႏွင့္ လူမႈစီးပြားဖြံ႔ၿဖိဳးေရး လုပ္ကိုင္ေနသူ အသီးသီးထံမွ ၾကားေနရျခင္းျဖစ္ပါ၏။

My First Day at School

Why are they all so big, other children?
So noisy? So much at home they
Must have been born in uniform

And the railings.

Perhaps they're to stop us getting out
Running away from the lessins. Lessin.
What does a lessin look like?
Sounds small and slimy.
They keep them in the glassrooms.
Whole rooms made out of glass. Imagine.

I wish I could remember my name
Mummy said it would come in useful.
Like wellies. When there's puddles.
Yellowwellies. I wish she was here.
I think my name is sewn on somewhere
Perhaps the teacher will read it for me.
Tea-cher. The one who makes the tea.

The Brook

I come from haunts of coot and hern,
I make a sudden sally
And sparkle out among the fern,
